DVJC at Cool Cars for Kids

BrianC · Jun 24, 2024 ·

On Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, members and friends of the Delaware Valley Jaguar club participated in the Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance, a major fund raiser for Cool Cars for Kids. Their biggest fundraising event is a classic car show, right in the city of Brotherly Love. It was created to bring together families of children with rare genetic diagnoses and classic car enthusiasts who share a common passion and appreciation for the one-of-a-kind. All funds raised by CCfK go directly towards its mission to support the Roberts Individualized Medical Genetics Center’s Rare Diagnoses Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This year Jaguar was the featured marque of this event and DVJC went all out to support this worthy cause. Thanks to Dr. Ian Krantz, a DVJC member, for helping to organize this event and involve DVJC. DVJC at Cool Cars for Kids (more…)

DVJC Spring Fling 2024

BrianC · May 18, 2024 ·

On a damp and dreary Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club held their Spring Fling at the Ring Hill Fire Pavilion in Pottsgrove, PA. In spite of the weather most members drove their Jaguar to the event. In addition to good food and conversation there was a corn hole contest with winners taking home wonderful prizes (can coolers and DVJC patches) with the grand prize winners taking home a fabulous (small) trophy. Congratulations to Tom Shaner and Chuck Kitson for their championship corn hole performance. Thanks to Paul Trout for organizing this event. DVJC Spring Fling 2024 (more…)
