On Saturday, July 27th, 30 members and guests met at the Brandywine Museum of Art, in Chadds Ford, PA. The weather was great. The large group was divided into 3 smaller groups, each with a docent, to provide a one-hour guided tour of the three-level museum. The tours featured the works of three generations of the Wyeth family and other artists from the “Brandywine School.”
Following the tour we had the opportunity to visit other parts of the museum, gift shop and trails along the Brandywine Creek.
At 1 p.m. we walked a block to the nearby Agave Mexican Restaurant. The food was excellent.
