DVJC at Watkins Glen 2018

A contingent of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club went to Watkins Glen from September 6th through 9th, 2018, to participate in the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival with Jaguar being the featured marque.  DVJC was represented by 22 member Jaguars.  Thanks to Mick VanVlijmen, Tom Shaner, Mike Wolf, Paul Trout, and Grace Smith for the photos and to Mike Wolf and Chuck Epstein for the videos. DVJC Coventry Foundation Support

DVJC received this letter of thanks from the Coventry Foundation for our club’s 2018 donation.  We are subscribed as an Affiliate Club Sponsor of the foundation.  The DVJC board of directors strongly supports the mission of the organization and believes that our support is essential to further its growth and development.  The foundation provides scholarship support for students pursuing automotive restoration education including to Pennsylvania College of Technology  As part of their broad offerings in automotive disciplines, Penn Technical, located in Williamsport, PA, offers an associate degree in Automotive Restoration Technology.  It is the only college level vintage vehicle restoration program degree offered on the east coast and one of the few available nationally.  Eugene Toner, who works for Ragtops and Roadsters, is a graduate of that program. 2018 DVJC August Dinner
