Following a January postponement due to weather the DVJC Holiday Party was held on February 16, 2025, at the William Penn Inn. The weather outside was damp and cool but the atmosphere inside was warm and cordial. Attendees had a chance to enjoy good company and good food. The highlights of the event included introduction of a new DVJC logo (attendees were rewarded with a key fob with the new logo) and the presentation of the Kurt Rappold President’s Award to Tony Tinari. On December 14th, 2024, thirty-three DVJC members spent a crisp, beautiful late autumn day at Winterthur, the estate of Henry F. DuPont. We toured the mansion which is beautifully decorated for Christmas and many visited the adjacent gallery. We were also treated to a private showing of two 1927 Rolls Royce automobiles. On a glorious Sunday morning, November 17, 2024, ten members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club participated in the 2024 Phil-a-Trunk event at Wells Fargo Center. The event gathers donated food for Philabundance. The DVJC group enjoyed a wonderful breakfast prepared by Tony Tinari. Members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club were blessed with a magnificent day for a gathering at the Brandywine Brewing Company in Greenville, Delaware on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. This event, hosted by Union Park Jaguar, brought together 35 DVJC members and guests for pleasant conversation and good food. Following lunch members had the opportunity to participate in a scenic drive of the surrounding area. On a picture perfect Saturday, October 26, 2024, members and guests of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at Allentown Jaguar for the start of a Lehigh Valley Destination Drive. Following a light breakfast 21 Jaguars departed for Kempton to visit the WK&S Steam Railroad. After touring the site and taking some photos the participants returned to Allentown Jaguar completing the 35 mile round trip. The event was completed by a lunch provided by Allentown Jaguar and some time to share with fellow Jaguar enthusiasts. A special thanks to Allentown Jaguar for hosting this outstanding event and providing the breakfast and lunch.
