On Saturday, April 15, 2023, members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the home of Tony Tinari to improve their judging skills for the upcoming Concours. Attendees honed their skills by practice judging an XK150, an E-Type and an XJ8. The workshop was led by chief judge Alan Brown. On Sunday, April 2, 2023 nine members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the home of Jim Sjoreen to update their Concours judging credentials. Under the able leadership of chief judge Alan Brown these individuals reviewed the latest judging information provided by JCNA and completed the written examination. On a rainy Saturday, April 1, 2023, more than 30 Delaware Valley Jaguar Club members and friends traveled to Hershey, PA, to visit the Antique Automobile Club of America on Hersheypark Drive in Hershey. Following an informative lecture and tour of the facility everyone went the short distance to the Smoked Bar and Grill in Hummelstown. Following some fellowship at the restaurant everyone proceeded to the AACA Museum on Museum Drive in Hershey for a glimpse of “The Vault”, a collection of cars not on display, as well as a visit to the museum. Thirty-three members and guests of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club ventured out on a cold March 19th day to gather for the monthly lunch at the Spring House Tavern. Despite the cold it was bright and sunny which convinced most of the attendees to bring their Jaguar. Everyone enjoyed some good food with good friends. On a brisk Saturday morning, March 18th, thirteen (13) members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the home of Leo Kob to attend a judge training workshop for the upcoming Concours d’Elegance. Chief Judge Alan Brown led the initial training and members then went out to test their judging skills on an E-Type, an XK8 and an XKR. Once the trainees completed their practice worksheets they headed inside to review the results. These DVJC members are dedicated to conducting an excellent Concours.
