The Delaware Valley Jaguar Club held its 18th annual slalom at the Garnet Valley High School, home of the Jaguars, on Saturday, September 30th, 2023. Some damp conditions led to a delay of the start that allowed the participants to share a breakfast at a local restaurant. An SUV was parked in the middle of the course but the resourceful crew carefully moved it out of the way. Thanks to slalom chair Rich Rosen and his volunteers it was a successful event. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, eighteen (18) DVJC members traveled to Odessa, Delaware to share a delightful brunch at Cantwell’s Tavern. On an absolutely gorgeous Sunday, ideal for driving your Jaguar, members and guests of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered for brunch at the Plumsteadville Inn. The buffet selection was outstanding and all the food was delicious. The conditions resulted in an overflow crowd. A spectacular day for a wonderful outing. Members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the Springhouse Tavern on a hot Saturday morning, July 15th, 2023, for their monthly gathering. Some members then drove to the Morris Arboretum for the Morris Auto show where several of our members were invited to show their cars. There was a great showing for DVJC members at the annual “Rebels & Redcoats” event at Washington Crossing Historic Park on Saturday, July 2, 2023. Jaguars swept the British car awards with 3rd Place (Noe LaFramboise-1955 XK 140 DHC), 2nd Place and “Most Elegant Car” award (Mike Eck-1960 Mark IX), and 1st Place (Kevin Fitzgerald-1969 E-Type OTS).
