Beautiful Cars, Breathtaking Estate Grounds, a Scenic Drive and Dinner all in one day!
The Marshall Steam Museum is first on the day’s itinerary. It includes the world’s largest collection of operating steam cars, a 1916 electric car (not a Tesla!), several other automobiles and an operating 1/8 scale steam train. During our visit, steam cars will be “fired up” and driven on the grounds of the museum.
A nine-mile scenic drive will bring us to the Nemours Estate where we will tour the chauffer’s garage that holds six historic vehicles owned by the DuPont family and have time to tour the mansion and grounds of the estate.
Dinner at the Brandywine Brewing Company in Greenville, DE concludes the day’s events.
