Our friends at the Pennsylvania MG Club have invited the DVJC to attend their special tour of the Three Dog Garage and Museum in Boyertown, July 19. They are meeting at the Parc Bistro in Skippack around 8:30 AM for coffee. At about 9:15, they plan to to depart in a caravan headed to the museum about 30 minutes north on Rt 73.
The museum is located in nearby Boyertown, PA between Pine Street and Rhoads Avenue at the intersection of North Madison Street. It is immediately behind the Sicilian Delite Pizzeria Ristorante on Route 73. There should be parking on nearby streets and near the entrance of the museum on Pine Street.
The Three Dog Garage is a well designed museum featuring cars and automotive stuff from the personal collection of Ross Myers. It is not generally open to the public and this is a rare opportunity to visit the museum designed and built by Ross and his wife Beth several years ago. It is an impressive collection and is a treat to the eyes and a window into the rich history of the collector car culture of the area. There is no cost to attend but a donation to CHOP would be appreciated. There may be an opportunity to gather for an optional lunch someplace nearby.
