JUDGES TRAINING 2026

Dear fellow DVJC members,

This letter is an invitation to Concours judge’s training, in preparation for our Concours on Saturday June 6th  2026.

All current and former judges as well as any member or co-member interested in becoming a judge are welcome.

The venue and dates are as follows.

Judge’s School: We will review the JCNA Concours Rule Book and any rule changes made this year. Participants will also take the test prepared by JCNA followed by a Q&A discussion. Each session will begin at 9:00am and run until noon.

March 7th.   Judge’s School at Jim Sjoreen’s in Wayne PA.

May 2nd.   Judge’s School at Alan Brown’s in Solebury, PA.

At these meeting we will discuss the following:-

• General qualifications and procedures for judges
• How to properly fill in scoresheets
• The official Concours divisions and their classes
• Instructions and general rules for the judge
• The certification process for judges
• The apprentice judging process

There will be an informal discussion with all attendees to answer any questions and discuss the finer points of scoring a Jaguar.

All JCNA approved judges must attend at least one Judge’s School within the past three years:  2024, 2025 or the current year, 2026.  A new rule implemented in 2025 states that All Judges must take and pass a Judges’ Test annually (not once every three years) at least 30 days prior to the JCNA sanctioned concours event (June 6, 2026).

Most Judges attend at least one of the Judge’s School sessions each year. Attending several sessions is encouraged.

 What I need to know.

1. Your confirmation of commitment to judge.
2. The model of Jaguar you would like to judge.
3. Which if any car/s you will be entering.
4. Which of the Judging venues you will attend.
