Thursday September 15

Arrival and activities of your choosing.

Dinner at your option.  A list of suggested restaurants will be provided prior to the trip.

Friday September 16

• Breakfast on your own.  Restaurant suggestions will be provided prior to the trip.
• 9:30 to 11:00 – Scenic Drive including stop at a scenic overlook.
• Free time for lunch.
• Sailing on Blue Crab Chesapeake Charters.
  • Anchors aweigh at 12 noon, 2:00 and 4:00 (90 minute cruises).
  • Maximum six passengers per boat.
  • Refreshments on board including complimentary Margaritas and snacks.  BYO drinks and snacks at your option.
  • Shaded areas are available on the boat.
  • $35 per person (tax included).  Customary gratuity of 15 – 20% for mate not included in trip cost.
• 6:00 to 7:00 – Cocktails (Cash Bar) at Rock Hall Yacht Club
• 7:00 – Buffet Dinner – Rock Hall Yacht Club dining room overlooking boats and water. ($32/person including tax and gratuity).

Saturday September 17

• Show Your Wheels Car Show on grounds of Rock Hall Yacht Club.
  • 9:00 to 10:00 – Field open for show cars.
    (Registration form will be available closer to date of show.)
  • 10:00 to 1:00 – Car show open to public.
  • Indoor restrooms on site.
  • Lunch is available in the restaurant, from the grill and food trucks.
  • Refreshments available throughout the day.
• Free time.
• Group dinner on the deck at Waterman’s Crab House with live music.
  • 6:30 – Cocktails and dinner.  Cash bar.
  • DVJC will be seated as a group on the deck under a tent.
  • Order from the menu by table.  One check per table

Sunday September 18

• 9:00 AM – Group Breakfast – Beverly’s Family Restaurant, Chestertown, MD.
• Enjoy the day on the Eastern Shore!
• Sailing is available by direct booking at Blue Crab Chesapeake Charters.

 

Accommodations:

There are no large hotels in Rock Hall so no “headquarters” location has been chosen.  Rooms are currently available at a wide variety of lodging choices and price points in and around Rock Hall recommended by our local members, Mark Einstein and Gary DiVito.  Also check bed & breakfast inns.

• Mariners Motel – 410-639-2291. Bay Views, five minute walk to Waterman’s Crab House.
• North Point Marina – 410-639-2907. All rooms with water views.
• Inn at Huntingfield Creek – 667-222-5692. B&B and cottages; seven minutes to Waterman’s Crab House.
• The Black Duck Inn – 410-639-2478 – B & B adjacent to Waterman’s Crab House.
• Red Roof Inn & Suites – Chestertown – 410-810-0555, about twenty minutes to Rock Hall and Yacht Club.
• Comfort Inn & Suites – Chestertown – 410-778-0778, about twenty minutes from Rock Hall and Yacht Club.
