The Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix is a unique event where spectators will experience the sights and sounds of historically significant cars and motorcycles, racing through the city of Coatesville.
New this year is a Friday Cruise-in event featuring vintage cars, trucks and special interest vehicles. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the public is invited to cruise in their hot rods, classic and restored cars and can park their vehicles on Lincoln Highway between 1st and 5th streets where spectators can get an up-close look. No entry fee or registration is required; however, all vehicles must be licensed. In addition, the Coatesville Rotary Club will host a ticketed PRIXview Party on Thursday night, September 16, at Brooklawn (Tickets coming soon.)
The main event begins Saturday, September 18th at 8:00am with a Color Guard performance of the National Anthem and cars will leave the start at 8:30. Classic vehicles, dating from the early 1900’s through 1975, leave the pit at 9am and follow a 2 mile course throughout the city. Local vendors, food and beverage trucks, and a VIP Beer Garden add to the day’s entertainment!
