Jaguar Allentown Open House

BrianC · Sep 20, 2025 ·

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Jaguar Allentown (formerly Bennett Jaguar) held an open house. They extended an invitation to the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club to attend the event. Several DVJC members took advantage to visit one of our faithful advertisers. DVJC member Steve Cutcliffe was kind enough to provide the photos. He believes he purchased the last Jaguar baseball cap in their inventory. Jaguar Allentown Open House ‹ › × × Previous Next (more…)

DVJC Taste of Philly Picnic 2025

BrianC · Sep 10, 2025 ·

On what started out to be a damp and dreary day on Sunday, September 7, 2025, twenty-six (26) member and guests of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the new picnic ground at Historic Hope Lodge in Fort Washington, PA. Fortunately the precipitation abated and everyone was able to enjoy some time together while enjoying Wawa hoagies, Tastykakes, snacks and beverages. Thanks to Hope Lodge for providing the venue and to Tony Tinari for organizing the event. DVJC Taste of Philly Picnic 2025 ‹ › × × Previous Next (more…)

DVJC Three Dog Garage Visit

BrianC · Jul 20, 2025 ·

An overcast morning dawned on Saturday July 19, 2025 and was pleasant enough to entice about 6 DVJC members out to rendezvous with our friends from the MG and Triumph Clubs at the Parc Bistro in Skippack, PA. With most hoods folded on an eclectic collection of a dozen or so British autos (with a few modern cars included), we drove the short distance north to Gilbertsville, PA along scenic Rt 73 to find parking near the Three Dog Garage. With rain beginning to put a damper on some, we parked and quickly found ourselves immersed in a magnificently restored industrial building in the company of many avid car enthusiasts from a host of different local car clubs. Once inside, we were treated to a rare showing of the inner workings and historic purpose of this garage-museum. Apparently, the owners had previously scheduled an open house for the numerous car clubs in the area to visit this remarkable but usually closed to the public collection of vintage autos, racing cars and memorabilia. Fortunately, our MG and Triumph friends heard about this and extended an invitation for the DVJC to attend. Our visit was truly a feast for the eyes with much to see. Fortunately, there were knowledgeable volunteers stationed throughout the complex comprised of two different multi-storied structures each filled with automobiles of every description, The larger building encompasses a spotless workshop area where numerous modern and vintage racing cars were being built or restored. There was something of interest (more…)

DVJC St. Peter’s Inn Brunch and Mascaro Tour

BrianC · Jul 17, 2025 ·

On a mild and partially overcast morning on Sunday July 13, about 30 DVJC Members, spouses and guests assembled in the parking lot of the St Perter’s Inn for an informal Cars and Coffee car show that spanned two parking areas in the scenic and historic village of St Peters in nearby Warwick Township in northwester Chester County.  Everyone enjoyed seeing our member’s Jaguars resplendent in the dappled sunshine of the morning along with local car enthusiasts’ eclectic assembly of many project cars in various stages of completion.  Many of the local, young enthusiasts are serious deveotees of front wheel drive, Asian cars and modify them to remarkable and extreme levels of performance.  Cars in the show ranged from a barn-find, authentic and running 1929 Ford Model A to an extreme 2019 XE SVO Jaguar Project 8 and everything in between. From the car show, we were seated on a private but covered deck overlooking the rapids of the upper French Creek leaving many in awe of the scene that looks more like it should be in the Rocky Mountains than in Pennsylvania.  We were treated to a wide choice of bunch entries selected forth Inn’s extensive menu.  A hearty brunch indeed with many choosing a Brunch entry called “English Breakfast”.  We also enjoyed a selection of locally baked pastries from Far Away Farms as an appetizer and desert along with excellent coffee during the event. From the St. Peters’s Village, our group drove a short distance along scenic and (more…)
