Thirty-three members and guests of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club ventured out on a cold March 19th day to gather for the monthly lunch at the Spring House Tavern. Despite the cold it was bright and sunny which convinced most of the attendees to bring their Jaguar. Everyone enjoyed some good food with good friends. On a brisk Saturday morning, March 18th, thirteen (13) members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club gathered at the home of Leo Kob to attend a judge training workshop for the upcoming Concours d’Elegance. Chief Judge Alan Brown led the initial training and members then went out to test their judging skills on an E-Type, an XK8 and an XKR. Once the trainees completed their practice worksheets they headed inside to review the results. These DVJC members are dedicated to conducting an excellent Concours. On March 4, 2023, members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club traveled to Wilmington, Delaware for a special event. Attendees started with a tour of Goober’s Garage and had coffee and pastries provided by Goober’s Diner. Following conversation in the garage we crossed the street to Union Park Jaguar for a look at the dealership and some special Jaguars currently for sale. We then reconvened on the second floor of Goober’s Diner for lunch. Coffee, pastries and lunch were all provided courtesy of Union Park Jaguar. Thirty-seven people attended the event with about a dozen bringing their Jaguar’s. Although the weather was a bit overcast it stayed dry. On Saturday, February 18th, 2023, members of the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club took advantage of a beautiful day to visit Eastwood Automotive in Pottstown, PA. On Saturday, February 11, 2023, the Simeone Automotive Museum held an event call Jaguars at LeMans – Dominating the Competition. 17 DVJC members met at the Penrose Diner for breakfast and then met with other club members at the museum. A highlight of the day was seeing a C-Type and D-Type Jaguar driven by museum staff. Tony Tinari and Kevin Fitzgerald manned a DVJC recruiting desk at the venue.
