Offered for immediate sale is a remarkably well preserved and stunning Crystal Blue 2012 Jaguar XJL Portfolio Executive with just 42,250 original miles. A three-owner car that has probably never seen snow, it was imported to PA from Texas in November 2024 and has been driven carefully since and never in inclement weather. Over the past two years, it has been professionally detailed several times and is eligible to enjoy and complete in any JCNA-sanctioned concours d’Elegance earning an expected 98 points or better. It is that nice!
As a top-of-the-line example of the XJL Portfolio series in 2012, this car came with all available options including the upgraded audio system with Bluetooth audio, adaptive cruise control, upgraded heated front and rear seats with cooled seats in the front, heated steering wheel, rear seat HVAC controls and beautifully finished picnic tables, etc. Of course, it has the reliable and trouble-free AJ 5.0-liter V8 normally aspirated engine producing 385 bhp coupled to the excellent, computer controlled ZF 6-speed automatic with a manual override mode (S) that takes advantage of the steering wheel mounted shifting paddles. It is finished in crystal blue paint code JKF with the beige interior and complementary wood trim. It has no issues whatsoever and drives perfectly, predictably and safely at any speed.
New factory manufactured carpet mats purchased from the selling dealer when the car was new were installed in 2024 along with four new Pirelli P-Zero staggered-size tires professionally mounted and balanced by Scuderia Performante. The HVAC works perfectly as does all the factory options and accessories manufactured with the car. There are no modifications or aftermarket accessories in the car. Both factory key fobs are included as is the owner’s manual and purchase literature for 2012.
According to a CarFax report generated in 2024, there is no significant service history associated with this car other than reprogramming of the ECU followed by an ECU replacement under warranty by the selling dealer. An official JLR sticker under the hood confirms this work was completed by a certified Jaguar technician complaint with manufacturer’s recommendations. Since the recent purchase in 2024, the only service provided were annual oil changes using Mobil 1 European specification full synthetic motor oil.
This spectacular and impressive automobile has obviously been well maintained by three caring owners since new. It needs absolutely nothing but a new owner and driver. This car is an increasingly rare, iconic luxury Jaguar produced near the end of the final production of these outstanding and reliable competitors to other popular marques of that period. It is as close to a perfect car as you will find from 2012.
