DESCRIPTION:\nLeo and Marty Kob have volunteered to lead a 90 minute drive 
 through northern and central Chester County\, on Saturday\, August 1st.&nb
 sp\;(Rain date is Sunday\, August 2nd.)&nbsp\;See details below and&nbsp\;

 wolf@boenninginc.com\n\nWe’ve got a 47-mile “bridge tour” starting a
 t the Valley Forge Casino’s (not round-tower hotel) canopy entrance for 
 valet parking.&nbsp\;Please arrive by 10:30 for 11:00 a.m. departure in gr
 oups of 5 or 6 cars. There will be 14 bridges (five being classic covered 
 wooden)\, plus three railroad underpasses) in north and central Chester Co
 unty.&nbsp\; The route heads from Valley Forge Nat’l Historic Park towar
 d Phoenixville\, swings west of Kimberton\, through the historic art colon
 y of Yellow Springs while crisscrossing French Creek.&nbsp\; We then go so
 utheast toward Downingtown and follow the Brandywine Creek\,&nbsp\;ending 
 up north of Exton at a community park in West Whiteland Township for a BYO
  lunch and conversation.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Driving time is about 90 min
 utes.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; We’ll pass over 50 farms dating back 100-200 years.&
 nbsp\; Many are still working\, and some barns have been converted into un
 ique residences. Because many of these structures sit back quite far from 
 the road\, and the route is highly serpentined/hilly\, the pace will be ve
 ry leisurely.\n\nAs was the case with the recent “flash drive” you are
  encouraged to bring your Jaguar\, but if the temperatures are extreme and
  you’d prefer to bring a modern car&nbsp\;with A.C.\, you are welcome to
  do so. We don’t want to have any heatstroke victims and we don’t awar
 d medals!
